Responsibilities

⦁ Code and test programming for software and mobile apps
⦁ Develop and deploy computer applications
⦁ Execute code builds to test and production environments
⦁ Fix bugs in existing code
⦁ Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams
⦁ Maintain documentation per company standards

Requirements

⦁ Mid-level, minimum 1-2 years experience
⦁ Knowledge and practice of C/C++, QT, QML, or JavaScript
⦁ User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design
⦁ Multi-platform development experience (Windows, Android, iOS)
⦁ Awareness of trends in hardware and operating systems, interface design, interactive design, and competitive software to help identify opportunities for innovation
⦁ Familiarity with common frameworks like MVC
⦁ Working knowledge of Git (or another mainstream code repository)

Extra Credit

⦁ Familiarity with multiple image and video formats

UX Designer

Responsibilities

⦁ Set project standards for UI and UX to drive functionality, accessibility, usability, and consistency
⦁ Understand cross-platform guidelines (mobile/desktop... web design a bonus, but not necessary)
⦁ Drive our UX/UI vision and best practices
⦁ Create conceptual wireframes, user flow diagrams, low-fidelity prototypes
⦁ Collaborate with artists and engineers to create high-fidelity mock-ups
⦁ Design training and onboarding that helps users quickly become proficient in core application mechanics
⦁ Design features that encourage a friendly, approachable, and inclusive online community
⦁ Observe and interpret the results of usability testing
⦁ Produce finished design specs for the final user interface

Requirements

⦁ Mid-level, minimum 1-2 years experience
⦁ Experience as an interface or user experience designer for web or game applications
⦁ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of user-centered design principles to design a complete interface for features that are ultimately functional, usable, appealing, and accessible

Tech Writers

Code Siren, LLC is a fast-paced deep technology startup focused on combining collaboration software and post-quantum cryptography (PQC). CS is seeking a talented and experienced Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity, software development, and SaaS business models. They will also be able to produce clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for various audiences, including internal and external users.

Responsibilities

⦁ Develop and write technical documentation for a variety of products and services, including user guides, training materials, API documentation, and white papers
⦁ Collaborate with management, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze technical information
⦁ Organize the technical documentation for RFQs and RFPs
⦁ Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easy to understand for a variety of audiences
⦁ Write and edit weekly technical blogs and other marketing materials
⦁ Maintain and update the company's knowledge base and other documentation resources

Qualifications

⦁ Background in Technical Writing, English, or a related field
⦁ 5+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in the cybersecurity or software industry
⦁ Proven ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for a variety of audiences
⦁ Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, such as cryptography, network security, and application security
⦁ Experience with government contracting, RFP/RFQ responses, SBIR proposal writing
⦁ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
⦁ Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
⦁ Advanced knowledge of software development and SaaS business models is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

⦁ Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and NIST technical publication requirements
⦁ Experience writing technical blogs and other marketing materials

Writing Samples:
